Mr. Brown going to Washington!

Republican Scott Brown has won the Massachusetts State Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for 46 years in a remarkable upset brought to you by the grass roots movement called the Tea Party. Brown won because he embraced the message coming from the majority of Americans that are tired of being ignored by their elected representatives.

Senator Elect Brown ran a perfect campaign and stymied the Democrats by reaching out to the Tea Party Movement and embracing their message. The one take away that all the media is missing is that if the candidate regardless of party who actually gets it, the grass roots anger and frustration, will get the Tea Party support as a Republican or Independent (a Democrat would never understand the message). That is the point that everyone is missing and that is the Tea Party movement will shun any candidate from any party that is tone deaf on the real issues that matter to all Americans. Individual rights to choose and a Government that gets out of the way and does not seek to control more and more of their lives. Government is not always the answer.

There is going to be much chatter and Liberal Media pundits heads exploding over the next few weeks and that is good for America. Democrats can lament all they want, but they are ones who just do not get it.

Congratulations Senator Elect Brown and I look forward to your arrival in the US Senate.

Personal Note: Watching Maddow, Dean, Olbermann and especially Matthews on MSNBC near tears at the election results was just icing on the cake.
