President Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize
Once again the Nobel Prize Committee proves it has become a politically motivated and irrelevant organization. Do you not have to actually accomplished something in order to get the peace prize?
Nothing like getting a Nobel and a Million Dollars as a conciliation prize for not getting the Olympics…
The World is a strange place indeed because Obama has managed in his short time in office to embolden Iran and Venezuela to openly discuss nuclear weapons, he has alienated Israel and put them into a position where they may be forced to act unilaterally and preemptively, passed on the decision to shoot the pirates (delegating it to the commander in theatre) and just watched as North Korea.flexing its missile muscle.
Speaking of missiles he did stop the Missile Defence shield which was making Russia grumpy, and has left the NATO members of the EU as well as parts of North America less protected than necessary and slapped the faces of our allies the Czechs and the Poles. He also did emasculate the US in terms of foreign policy and give some speeches on the World Stage about his utopian little world that all Liberals envision, that is of course a Nuclear Weapon Free and smores ( campfire snack eaten while singing Michael Row your Boat ) Planet free of evil pollution (plant food) from economic activity, and everyone is good neighbours.
So I ask again, Do you not have to have at least brokered some peace rather than just pontificated on it?
