During the Financial melt-down of 2008 set against the backdrop of the never-ending US Presidential Campaign I came to realize that the leaders (Prospective and Current) of the United States and Canada had absolutely no idea of what was happening around them. This complete disconnect from reality was gobbled up by the US Electorate while the Canadians rejected the lurch to the left that the now President Obama represented, in a strange twist of fate Canada came out more right wing than the USA. I found this fascinating and started to Blog about it on this site, since I have been using it to simply point out what I see are the realities of the Stock Market and also comment on Political Issues arising from the aftermath of the crisis. Having lived in the USA for a decade and getting to experience the US Political System first hand I developed a deep-rooted interest in both country’s political systems, it is from that perspective I form my opinions. For the record I am a fiscal conservative, with some liberal leanings in certain aspects of social issues.
